Stay connected to the world around you with the first set of Join-In web apps for YouTube, TikTok, and WhatsApp and never miss another inspiring TED Talk, grumpy cat video, or gaming group message again.

Join-In web apps make social media more accessible so you can digitally connect with friends and family whether they live down the street or across the country.

Join-In apps are customizable. Each app has an editor function so you can place buttons used most on the home page. Enjoy Join-In apps while using your AAC device for other purposes. For example, you can minimize the YouTube app and keep music (preferably Taylor Swift or Harry Styles, but you can decide) playing in the background.

Experience Join-In web apps on Accent 1400 devices 

Join-In apps are available on every new Accent 1400 device shipped on or after May 1, 2023 and using Empower software with the purchase of the Integrated Feature Pack for $15. Once your device is set up for Join-In app capability, start experiencing YouTube, TikTok, or WhatsApp with Join-In apps by going to Menu > Toolbox > Applications > Web Apps. You can also create shortcuts from your AAC vocabulary to your favorite apps.
