Designed for the emerging users of AAC, Engage™ helps those using eye tracking (or eyegaze) technology to facilitate growth through simple explorative and interactive activities.

Start simple…and build

Engage provides an array of interactive activities and communication displays. Entirely customizable, users begin to learn to communicate with others at their own pace in a fun and engaging way. All of the activities allow the communicator to explore their movement through structured interactions and skill-based games with a wide range of adjustment.

Through PRC’s Empower software, Engage can be easily modified to customize the content for any preferred activity.

Engage Vocabulary

Engage Vocabulary grids provide content designed to refine early access skills within a communication-rich set of activities. These activities are designed to engage the communicator with the partner creating many opportunities for:

• Personal engagement
• Social exchange
• Turn taking

As the communicator’s skills with AAC increase, there are additional grids for more complex content, targeting and choice making. The Engage Vocabulary provides plenty of blank templates to begin customizing with personal favorites, and pre-programmed pages can be edited easily to meet the communicator’s need or interest.

Engage Videos

Video Grids are designed to help facilitate early access skills of increasing attention and following active content being displayed.

The user begins a video by simply looking at it. As long as attention is maintained, the video will continue to play.

Once the communicator is ready to make distinct choices, Thumbnail Videos offer a more traditional video player experience. When sensory accommodations are needed, Engage Videos contain Global and Activity-specific settings to make this easier.As skills improve, more videos can be added to the display and the dwell time increased to help the user make distinct choices and improve their fixation skills. Timocco-on-Accent

Timocco-on-Accent® brings a new dimension to AAC access learning.

These games:

• Provide the learner the opportunity to practice and learn touch, head or eye tracking skills right on their Accent.
• Are clinically structured for structured learning and have the ability to change a variety of settings.
