Prentke Romich Announces Sponsorship Of The ALS Association

Posted Apr 4, 2017 - 12:42pm

Ohio-Based Company provides Communications Solutions for People Living with ALS

Ohio-based Prentke Romich Company (PRC) today announced its sponsorship of The ALS Association, including its 2017 National ALS Advocacy Conference in May.

PRC, a global leader in the development of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) solutions, has partnered with The ALS Association to fight ALS through global research and nationwide advocacy, while also empowering people with ALS and their families to live fuller lives by providing them with compassionate care and support.

“We’re pleased to be able to assist The ALS Association as they work towards finding treatments and a cure,” said PRC CEO Dave Moffatt. ““Our support is a small way to help individuals with ALS now and into the future.”

As a sponsor, PRC will be a participant at The Association’s 2017 National ALS Advocacy Conference. This year the conference will be held Sunday, May 14, to Tuesday, May 16, in Washington, D.C.

As part of National ALS Advocacy Day, ALS advocates and people living with the disease participate in meeting with members of Congress and their staff to share their stories and urge legislators to act on behalf of the ALS community.

“We are grateful to PRC for their support of the Association and their support of people living with ALS,” said ALS Association CEO and President Barbara Newhouse. “Communication is especially critical to those living with ALS and PRC is an important provider of communication solutions.”

“It’s about making a difference in people’s lives,” said Moffatt. “And making a difference in the quality of the lives of those living with ALS. Our support of The ALS Association fits perfectly with our mission.”
