PRC is pleased to announce that it has partnered with wheelchair mount provider Rehadapt to offer a streamlined system of mounts designed to complement their full range of communication devices.

“Rehadapt’s mounting solutions are the perfect complement to PRC’s devices,” said PRC CEO Dave Hershberger. “Their mounting solutions are designed to meet the various positioning needs of a communicator (e.g., in a bed, recliner, wheelchair, etc). This, in turn, allows PRC to offer greater flexibility to our customers.”

In addition, the partnership offers a streamlined ordering process, with purchasers able to assemble a complete accessibility solution in one place.

PRC will be offering the new “RM” series of wheelchair mounts, including:

• The “RM-2” (two-tube mount)
• The “RM-3” (three-tube mount)
• The “RM-S” (forward S-tube mount)

All have standard tube sizes, but include the option of swapping out any tube to meet the needs of various sizes or configurations of wheelchair. In addition, all three of these mounts include a standard universal joint that makes the top angle fully adjustable. A fold-down joint option is also available.

In addition to new wheelchair mounts, PRC floorstand options have been greatly expanded to include a VarioLock floorstand, adjustable in both height and width; a Pentalock floorstand featuring a small five-start base with casters; a QuickPack floorstand that easily folds and packs into a carry bag; and a VarioFloat floorstand that includes a free floating, articulated arm for easy device positioning.
