Emily earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. Prior to joining PRC, Emily worked as an SLP in settings around the country including public schools in Burlington, Vermont and a non-public school for children with autism spectrum disorder in Baltimore, Maryland. She also spent 4 years providing pediatric inpatient and outpatient therapy in a hospital in Missoula, Montana. Across these roles she has gained practical, hands-on experiences targeting functional communication, performing AAC evaluations and working with teams and families to implement AAC with individuals.
Emily holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), is a member of ASHA's Special Interest Group 12 (AAC) and holds a state license in Speech-Language Pathology from New York.
