Looking to learn more about the LAMP Words for Life iOS app and how to use it in your AAC practice? Then this course is for you. You will learn background information about the LAMP approach and how it applies to the LAMP Words for Life app. An overview of the settings and features of the app, as well as how to customize the app and get started with it in your practice will be covered in this session. Differences between the PRC-Saltillo Accent device with LAMP Words for Life and the iOS version of LAMP Words for Life will be discussed.

Participants are encouraged to bring an iOS device with the LAMP Words for Life app installed. Devices will not be provided.

Learner Outcomes:

1. Describe the differences between LAMP and LAMP Words for Life (WFL) app.
2. Describe why LAMP WFL uses singles words instead of phrases.
3. Define at least 2 features available in LAMP WFL app.
4. Perform basic programming in the LAMP WFL app.
