Instructors:
Zoie Vieira-Perry, SLP specializes in supporting individuals with complex communication needs across the lifespan. She conducts client evaluations and offers personalized training for clients, their families, and caregivers, focusing on AAC implementation and best practices.
Lianna Friedman, SLP is a speech- language pathologist who specializes in evaluation and implementation of AAC tools for both children and adults. Lianna works for Easterseals MA, servicing the Southeast region of the state.
Catherine Kingman, SLP is a speech-language pathologist who works for Easterseas Massachusetts, covering the Central and Western Massachusetts regions. She is focusing on providing AAC services to children and adults.
Kristi Peak-, SLP has over 30 years' experience with providing AAC services to children and adults. She is the Assistant Director of Assistive Technology Services at Easterseals Massachusetts and manages AAC services for the department.
Leila Denna, SLP is a Speech-Language Pathologist with Cotting Consulting, an outreach program of Cotting School. She supports students using assistive technology in the school setting. Leila’s work is centered on interdisciplinary collaboration to improve student learning.
Laura McGloine, SLP is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist with 15 years of experience specializing in working with complex communicators. She previously served as the AAC specialist at Valley Collaborative and has spent the last six years in the Connections Pre-K and Elementary Programs at Waltham Public Schools. In addition to her role in education, Laura operates her private practice, Badger Speech Therapy, on a part-time basis.
Melissa Mulvey, SLP works for Cotting Consulting, an outreach program of Cotting School. She provides services to students and teams in local school districts. Melissa's background as a speech-language pathologist brings a strong language foundation to her assessment and implementation support activities.
Nicole Williams, SLP is a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist & AAC specialist in the Spaulding Rehabilitation Network and an affiliated faculty member at Emerson College, where she teaches graduate AAC-related coursework. She also is a clinical doctoral candidate that the MGH IHP, where she is conducting research on the impact of AAC training and mentorship programs on AAC clinical knowledge, competence, and confidence in practicing clinicians.
Dr. Kimberly Ho is a neurodivergent speech-language pathologist and board certified behavior analyst who serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Northeastern University. She has taught both graduate and undergraduate courses in AAC, Autism, and severe disabilities at Purdue University, Northeastern University, University of Rhode Island, and Boston University. Dr. Ho has published 3 articles in peer-reviewed professional journals related to AAC. She has presented at 18 state, national, and international conferences on AAC, Autism, and Neurodiversity-affirming care.
